About Me...
Being a human is hard sometimes, and when you’re in the middle of the struggle it can feel like no one really gets it. If this sounds familiar, I’d love to walk alongside you…not to “fix” you, because you were never broken, but to help you question whether the rigid rules you’ve been living by are actually serving you or if they’ve been keeping you stuck in an endless loop of self-criticism and “shoulds.” Let’s work together to uncover what really matters to you instead of all the ways you’ve been told you’re doing life “wrong.” I specialize in supporting individuals with eating disorders, anxiety, and self-esteem concerns, and I deeply believe in the healing power of human connection alongside any therapeutic intervention. I find that many of my clients struggle with perfectionism and people-pleasing and are chronic overachievers who have spent so much time trying to be the best parent, employee, or family member that they’ve forgotten to ask themselves what THEY need. I also feel a strong sense of purpose in helping clients navigate recovery into a larger body and healing from treatment-related trauma. Whatever brings you into this space, I'm here to help you navigate the tough moments and reconnect to the incredible things that make you who you are. I approach this work from a Health at Every Size® perspective and prioritize body autonomy, which means I support collaboration and informed choice rather than directives or ultimatums around your body or behaviors. While I am a therapist, I will always be a human first. I can’t promise to have all the answers, but I am committed to showing up for you and walking alongside you in this work. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me singing and dancing (on stage or in the car), or enjoying some time at home with my precious fur baby, Riley.
